Attack of the Adrenal!

OK, so maybe I'm a little drug induced at the moment because of the horrific cold that Peanut decided would be great fun to share with Mommy (hence the blog title.)  But still thinking of good recipes!  I/We actually just came across a cool program from one of our onsite customers in here called Cook'n it allows you to import not only their cook books and recipes but also your own and from the internet.  You can also search by ingredient combos!  It was pretty spectacular :)

So after chatting it up with my doctor he's decided that I have something called Adrenal Fatigue,  I'm now taking a new supplement along with a few modifications to my diet and it has already improved sleep.  It has not however improved my super human skills to be able to ward off this !$#%^& colds!! lol.  Sorry couldn't help from adding that!



Over the New Year weekend we went back to my sisters house for our Christmas get together.  Friday night Grandma and Grandpa along with Annie and Zach (the golden retreivers) spent the night too and we had a blast playing Apples to Apples!!  Then after we did the present thing we went to bed, got up the next morning, got Gramma and Papa off on the road (with far less incidents than happened on the way there I might add), and started helping take down the Xmas decorations.  After that it was such a nice day my sister talked us into Geocaching :)  Sounds like some wonky made up word, which I guess technically it is, but it is all kinds of fun.  Think hiking meets treasure hunting.  According to the Peanut Monster she is now a bonafide Pirate Treasure Hunter!

I will probably update this a little later tonight with some yummy venison recipes.  Just got ours back from the butcher guy and have fresh ground venison to eat up.  Venison chili, venison sloppy joes, venison burgers... I feel like Bubba rattling off the many ways to make up shrimp in Forrest Gump ;)  Have a good day all!!!
