Sorry no post in a week. It's been a little crazy. We are getting ready for a large craft show in Washington, MO weekend after this one and it's HUGE!
Last night in true Thursday night fashion I went to see the bestest trainer in the world, Miss Lauren. After having a nasty pinched nerve earlier in the week there was no lifting last night, just lots and LOTS of cardio! On the plus side we were discussing my next step in diet (which is going to be fairly boring but hey you do what you gotta do right?) and decided to weight and do a mini measure. In the past two weeks I'm down 3 lbs. and another 3/4 inch in my wait. Starting waist measurement (51 and 3/4 inch) last nights was 50 and 1/4 in.!! I'm totally cool with this result in a matter of 4 weeks now.
So the diet is supposed to go as follows:
6 egg whites or 3 oz lean lunch meat (I don't much care for plain eggs)
1 serving quick cooking oats with cinnamon and splenda
Snack (3 hrs after breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
1 scoop protein shake with 8 oz. skim milk (last shake with water though)
fruit (some kind of berry preferably, banana, apple, orange, etc.)
1 TBSP peanut butter
**If you blend all ingredients of the snack (with strawberries) it makes for a totally awesome PB & J protein shake!
Lean meat (fish, chicken, turkey)
salad with 2 tbsp non creamy dressing
brown rice or sweet potato
handful of almonds
Gunna have to find a way to jazz this up a bit eh?
On the plus side I still can drink my tea in the morning! (This morning was black cherry with splenda)

On a fun shopping for clothes side note... The dress I bought for an upcoming wedding came in yesterday and it fits!!!! Plus looks super cute of course :)
